I'm with you Jim... after using good triggers a two stage would be a huge backwards step for me...

OP,
The Bentley of 2 stage trigger groups for a Remington is a BixnAndy Competition($450USD) followed by their Tactical 2 stage($400USD).
A Flavio Fare(Italy) 2 stage but is not adjustable($425USD).
The Tubb T7T is overpriced junk IMO ($375USD)
The Geiselle Super 700 is not adjustable friendly ($250USD)

The BixnAndy Tactical single stage is an awesome trigger group($350USD)
The Trigger Tech 2 stage is available & Canadian(ON)
The Trigger Tech Primary & Special trigger groups are less expensive than a Jewell & repeat.

A quality single stage trigger group adjusted properly should suffice for a hunting rig.
Timney,Jard,Rifle Basix should not be in one's vocabulary in the 21st century.

WHY would you want one ? just wondering ? RJ

Because I like them. Especially for hunting. Light pull and drop safe with less risk of an ND wearing gloves. I have shot Jewell, Geisselle, Rifle Basix and heaven knows how many factory installed and gunsmith worked triggers. Run a Geisselle 2 stage in my 223, an Enfield 4 mk 2 with the fixed steel hung trigger and a rifle basix in a Savage F TR right now. Not sure who made the one in my PGW.

But thanks for your valuable contribution. I will assume you have never used a good one and felt the need to tell everyone you know everything.

Sorry i did not contribute to your IDEA a 2 stage trigger is a GOOD thing - and I did say JMO that I didn't see a use for them or like them !

Your statement YOU made up that i know everything  No idea how you dreamed that up and was a BIT Rude but considering your just ignorant i guess i can consider the source ! LOL RJ

I asked for recommendations about a category of product. You asked why I would want one in an incredulous manner, implying that you think I am ignorant of the subject (IE stupid), not answering my question, not providing any information of value and not providing anything of substance besides that unqualified subjective opinion.

If you want a debate about the relative merits of categories of products, go start your own thread or use the search function to see if it has been discussed before, just as I did before I started this one. If you like hearing your own voice, try to stay on topic and people will be more tolerant if you can avoid implying they are stupid.

Very poignant observations. Based on the punctuation and spelling I will infer what stage of elementary school you ended your studies to pursue amorous pursuits with barnyard animals.
