For all you 25-35 Winchester shooters.

Yes, for those 22 Hi-Power shooters, 25-35 shooters, 32-40 shooters and 38-55 shooters, the 30-30 case will work as your basic one.
Let's face it, we are not going to see a shortage of 30-30 cases anytime soon. :) Dave.

I have only resized a few to 32-40, but that one is duck soup simple. The 219 Zipper is another one, but quite a bit of work to insure you don't lose a lot of brass.

It was you that taught me to keep the shoulder and neck free of lube, Dave. No more creased necks or shoulders. :)

Glad to have been of assistance, Ted. Shooters helping shooters, reloaders helping reloaders. Everyone benefits. :) Dave.

Resized the 30-30 brass about 1/8 inch at a time, while keeping the lube cleaned off the neck/shoulder, did the job with no intermediate dies. Was quite surprised.

No shortage of cases for our old Model 94 now! :) My son shot his first big game, two deer, with that rifle using IMR3031 and 117 gr Hornady RN bullets. Now his sons are the shooters.

I have resized 32 20 brass to 218 bee using the same method , you just have to be patient.

I inherited my dad’s 1951 M94 carbine, he bought it new the same year. He loaded for it many years ago using a Lyman 3 die set. No matter how many different ways that I went about it, I wasn’t able to size 30/30 cases down to 25/35 without severely creasing the necks until I purchased Redding case forming dies. I still use his dies, my load notes indicate that I’ve loaded close to 2500 rds for that rifle.

I could match factory velocity of 2050fps with 3031 and Hornady 117gr bullets and got long case life. I now use CFE223 and experience similar cases life at 2300fps out of a carbine length bbl. when Hornady suspended 117gr RN bullets, I found bulk Speer 75gr FN bullets intended for the 25/20. My rifle was sensitive to cartridge length, so to make it cycle correctly I bought a cannaleur tool to allow me to seat the bullet out further. I also use CFE223 for that bullet and get 2750fps and usually around 10 loadings before that bright ring appears 3/8” above the case rim.

I live in Southern Ontario so all that my rifle has taken are coyotes. Love that rifle and glad that the Redding dies allow me to make brass!

I form 30-30, down to 25-35 Akley Improved , intermediate die is a 7-30 waters, if I get in a hurry I do loose a few cases to shoulder creases and collapse that just won't stretch out on fire form.
