Does anyone make aftermarket synthetic stocks for Kimber rifles?

Hey guys

I have a Kimber 84M Classic Select, in .280ai, that I absolutely love. But would like to get a synthetic stock for it, as well as the factory walnut one, it came with.

I’m leaving tomorrow, for my second season of deer hunting with it. As much as I like the look and feel of the walnut stock it came with, I’ve gotten more into backcountry hunting in the past few years and feel a synthetic would be more durable in the weather and strapped against my pack.

Can anyone give me recommendations as to where I might purchase a synthetic stock for this rifle?

Please DM me, if you have any ideas.

Thank you

Shooters Choice 2014 shows a Kimber hunter stock, in stock. Just need a mag and you’d be good to go.

It would be a lot easier to find a Kimber Montana in 280AI and use that for your backcountry hunts and save the Classic for good weather front country deer.

Pendleton composites makes one. I’ve got one of his stocks on my Montana in .338 win mag and it’s a very well made stock. When I sold the factory Montana stock the guy I sold it to put it on a win model 70 so I don’t see any good reason you couldn’t buy a mod 70 wildcat composite and bed your kimber into it if your a little bit handy.
The other option is to find a takeoff Montana stock, it wasn’t to long ago there was an 84l stock listed on the exchange.

McMillan does make a great one for the Kimber. Ask for the Sako small action A111 223 action stock and inletted for the Kimber. You can get it in the hunter style or varmint with a slight beavertail forearm. Great stocks for a Kimber.
