KEL TEC CMR-30 SEMI AUTO RIFLE NON Restricted on sale 599.99USD in Canada

There is a 17 HMR semi that utilizes the ruger 1022 afteraftermarket parts.
So a SR 22 chambered in 17 HMR is possible

Im pretty sure that it's a no no,simply because i think, and i say I THINK,that the 17 hmr should have a bigger receiver just like the 10-22 in 22 mag,so it wont fit in a SR 22 chassis.

$781.00 bucks for a 10 shot 22 rifle......doesnt a $300 dollar Ruger do the same thing ?
I dont get it.

First off its .22WMR.... HUGE difference ! ask the badgers

Secondly the 10/22 is for simpletons. *see below*

Who said it was, I'm just saying what the description says.
Ruger 1022 aftermarket parts compatible,
Whatever that .means.

I know, but you did quote me about it,i was talking about the fact that the 10-22 mag and probably the 10-17 that ruger produced their receiver are not the same as someone mention as for the ruger SR22,that's all.

OK,gotcha.
Would be an interesting gun for IRG to look into

Which $300 compact, large mag fed semi auto .22mag does Ruger currently offer?

"large mag fed auto" they are both "10" rounds no matter how "large" the mag may be.

You can get many compact stocks for the ruger and it can be as "short " as the Keltec

plus buy a used one for $250 to $275 with an aftermarket stock on it. win win.

$780 will get you a dam nice hunting rifle.

Please, show me a 10/22 with an aftermarket stock for sale for $250... I just checked the EE quickly and $450 was the lowest I saw?

Hey IRG,

I forgot, here a picture of one of your puppies you did bring in,that 4 lbs with a pretty nice pack of punch is really a pleasure to carry while hunting grouse !

I wish I had never sold mine, it was a super handy and reliable little carbine. I'll be buying another if they come available again.

Does IRG ever actually pick up the phone/return calls or emails?

Sent my CMR-30 in for warranty work (firing pin/bolt group broke) in August, was supposed to get an update in September... Been calling all week and can't get through at all. Kel tec fixed the rifle and sent it to them Oct 7th. No word if it made it to the (late) october import.

I'd be less pissed off if I could actually talk to someone there.
