MRA Renegade Rifles, Parts, and Kits now available

Made it out to the range, rifle shot fantastic, was just breaking in barrel, so I took the rifle apart 3 times. First 15 shots were difficult to extract and after that is has been getting a lot better. Shot about 50 rounds through barrel, last 10 rounds were very easy to extract

I was noting difficult extraction too. Does it seem to be a new-rifle issue that gets better? I was thinking to clean the chamber, but this rifle is harder than most to open up for cleaning and I didn't have the tools and stuff at the range with me.

So long as I can haul the bolt back normally I'm happy, but when it gets to the point of having to drop the mag, lay the rifle down on its side on the bench, brace stock against belt, and haul back on the bolt with both hands the fun has sort of gone out of the new toy.

Maybe this is a rifle for being less of an anti-boresnake purist? Still need some way of holding the bolt back though.

And maybe I'll have to find some other way of getting rid of the bargain Russian ammo.

Do we have a checklist of what to do about difficult extraction?

That should be a start.

Why separate charge handle sales? Is this different over the provided item or are individuals losing them?

Ok so! I want a close in bush gun for deer. With collapsible stock what is the shortest barrel one can run on the renegade? Also i havent decided on chambering it in .458 soccom or 450 bushmaster. Barrel availability? Any info would be great!
