Need a CZ 457 Varmint .22LR

No and yes. I got the name from my wife, I used to "sneak" guns into my man cave until she caught me a couple of times and told me that I was very bad.

Sounds great, price is good, now as long as they still have one in stock I will be back in buisness. Thanks again guys for all the help.

Called Tenda this AM and they had one in stock, note I said one, because now it`s mine :) It was a toss up between the 457 and a Tikka T1x, I hope I made the right choice ?
Thanks for the help

How is the new rifle?

It was delivered today by UPS. The box was beat to hell, totally trashed, looked like they dropped something big and heavy on it and let it make the trip like that. Never seen anything like it, anyway the forestock has a major split in it from the tip back about 4 inches, the broken piece is just barely still attached. I called Tenda and they told me to send pictures and initiate an "insurance claim" and I might get a refund in a month or two. Needless to say I am rather un-impressed. So here we go. This is my first time dealing with Tenda so we will see.

Sorry to hear that. I have had good luck so far (touch wood) with nothing being damaged. I'm guessing it happened in transit as Tenda open the boxes before shipping.

Yeah, this is actually the first time something like this has happened for me. It was definetly UPS at fault, it was obvious that the box had been bent lengthwise and had something real heavy sitting on it. The forestock has a large crack it it running from the tip back about 4 inches and the piece is almost broked off. The inside of the box where the cradles on which the gun rests were totaly crushed. Some real idiots at work to accomplish this. I sent pictures to Tenda and got an immediate response ( several e-mails and a phone call). The guy said he couldn`t imagine what they had to do to achieve this. Anyway his attitude seemed real good and he assured me this would be recified ASAP. I do have the "insurance" also so we will see.
I wasn`t home when UPS showed up. Wife says he leaned the box up against the house with the damaged side facing the house the wife gave him a signature and he almost ran down the driveway. I personally would not have accepted a box in that condition without opening it first. Anyway so far I am impressed with Tenda`s response and approach so we will see.

A friend of mine received a note that UPS had broken some things he was sending to a customer in the US, and they had discarded the broken parts. The problem was that the parts he was sending were upgraded suspension parts for a hydraulic lowrider 65 Coupe DeVille, designed to take the full weight of the car when bouncing. They could have literally dropped the parts from the plane as it flew over the guy's garage and not "broken" them. UPS sucks.

I know I will never ship or have anything shipped by them again. You would have to work at destroying that box the way they did, nothing short of ridiculous, and then the guy trires to deliver it like nothing was wrong, what a crock.
