All of Manitoba is falling into a lockdown.. UPDATE

Maybe it's not related, but in new home construction the delays and backorders are getting really bad again. These builders are starting to fray at the seams, as they struggle with equipment and material shortages, lack of competent employees and screwball scheduling and delays. It feels like things are about to freeze up again.



I've been starting to go prepper again, in anticipation of another clustrfkk round of lockdowns. IMo, if Biden gets the final nod, then as far as I'm concerned it's apocalypse time.
 
Have to sink the remaining businesses and put everyone on welfare. Then, when we are all on welfare, we will have to bow down to the the United Nations rules and get that chip with the vaccine.
Anyone else seeing the vaccine adds on the side of emails and Kijiji?
Debt like you've never seen it before. Control freaks running the place.
 
I have 4 days of hunting starting tomorrow, I hope like hell I get my Mule buck and 2 elk because the meat will be needed now more then ever. I'm stocked up on most everything else but short on meat for the year.

Let’s do a proper lockdown. Let’s lock it down for at least 3 months. And no more of this BS about “essential services”. LOCK IT ALL DOWN! Politicians, the media, grocery stores, convenience stores, liquor stores, pot stores, you name it - lock it all down for 3 months. Let’s make this a real lock down, instead of the extended vacation that it’s been up until now. Unless you’re a doctor, a nurse, or a cop you don’t need to be out.

In 3 months we’ll open back up with anybody that’s left. That aught to solve the Covid problem, and a lot of the other problems we seem to be facing.

There is no need to destroy the economy to minimize Covid-19 propagation (get R under 1.0).
The current Covid-19 epidemic has almost overwhelmed Quebec's health system
* most non-urgent surgeries have been postponed (in my case twice for a total delay of 9 month for non-urgent cancer related surgery),
* a predicted 10% increase in cancers for the next 10 years - this is iffy and might be only a 5% increase :(,
* orthopaedic surgery delayed by 18 month.

This is only the start of a sanitary emergency, if we reach a sanitary crisis, all hell with break out.

Meeh..I'll visit whomever I choose when I want and that includes celebrating with family and friends the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I can appreciate that may upset some people.
