Now me failing the red-green colour blind tests, that blue tape is as bright, possibly brighter than new fluorescent orange tape. Certainly it way brighter the second year. Yet the guys at moose camp hate the stuff, can't see it.
When I say I am colour blind, it doesn't mean I can't see red's or greens. But I do apparently see them differently. Green stop lights for example vanish in a bunch of city lights, they look almost white to me. Red is still red, or at least what I perceive as red, but I can't pick it out from the dots, it doesn't stand out, I've run a few stop lights because of it. Finding a trail taped in red is a real challenge for me.
I suppose that means my eyesight is closer to that of a deer. Not the same, just closer.
Anyway, I have always wondered what the world looks like with 'regular' colour vision.
If you see the blue flagging tape standing out like neon, maybe you are also red-green colour blind. Lots of tests online. My night vision seems to be excellent.
