NEW SIG P250 video on SIG site .........

MRSP is is only $699USD...shouldn't be more than $750 here...

Kinda interesting that you can change frames, but considering that frame is actually a firearm itself makes little sance IMO...

Still looks nice though....reminds me of FN FortyNine. Might get one if the barrel is over 105mm, longer barrel would ruin it for me :(

The serial number is on the internals and trigger housing and shows up through a hole on the side of the frame so you can see the serial number.

Right next to the left handed slide release. There are no individual markings on the different sized frames so I see no reason why you can switch them out like they wanted, even with our laws.

Interesting... Even in the photo I posted you can see a window for the serial number in the 'empty' frame...

But under the law the frame is still the reciever isn't it?

I know Steyr M has removable rail/sear housing kinda like the Sig, whish is cool since you can change the internals/rails without getting a few frame. but if they have a serial # on them they would't be as easy to get...

Too bad about the barrel langth :( but I guess it would looks better then Sig Pro model with the 105mm+ barrel...

The receiver is the firearm under the law. On the P250, the receiver is removable from the frame.

As a side note, I have noticed SigPros sinking in value in the US since the P250 started hitting gun magazines 5 months ago.

.45acp, in a compact frame, in a SIG Sign me up!

I really liked the 229 as for fit in my hand over the 220 but really want the .45 over the .40. Lets just hope the fit and finish of the 250 is on par with the 22x line, I wasn't too impressed with the Fit and Finish of the SP2022...

I find it looks good, so no. doesn't really look like the M&P..
have you seen one other than in photos? It looks way better in person... I though M&P was ugly before I was one at a gun store....than I bought one ;)

P250 looks a LOT like FN forty nine or the new (yet to be released) Taurus 809
