ATRS order ready to ship. Still no PAL

Shouldn't be a problem at all. I would call the CFO and see if they can give you your PAL# before the card arrives - (it can happen, I've witnessed it.) Also, The vendor will likely sell you anything you want that isn't restricted. They just won't release the items to you without checking your PAL#.


Edit* I should add that if they do give you your pal number early, it's on you to only possess firearms legally, i.e. while also in possession of your pal card.
 
Hey folks, I'm in a bit of a pickle here. I ordered a modern sporter receiver set in January this year while waiting for my PAL. I had assumed that I would have my license by now and told them this, my plan was that if I didn't have my license, I would have it sent to my friend for safe keeping til then. The problem is that this rifle is now a prohib and they are ready to ship to me, but I'm still waiting on the BC CFO for my pal. What the heck do I do now?

There really is NOT a problem here. The sale is 110% legal but we cannot release the set until proof of PAL is possible. To ship it to your buddy without transferring ownership to him is called a straw purchase as we know the set will end up in your hands.
I am surprised as to how long it is taking to get your PAL but would suggest following up with the CFO.

As for us holding your set until your PAL does finally come in, assuming it is paid for, no problem we are happy to help you out, but within the confines of the law.
I am sure you have talked with us regarding your problem, just please keep us in the loop.
