Being slated to the canadian market there isnt much about these guns online. Can someone here give a review of the good the bad and the ugly please?

Ive held several of the conrad extras and they fit well and balanced nicely im just not a fan of the gold inlays. The conrad looks identical minus the gold inlays. Am i missing anything between the two?
Is it worth the going rate for $1700ish new?
 
I've never owned or shot one but I have friends who have them and although none of them have put a lot of rounds through the guns they seem to be reliable. The action looks to me like the same receiver that other companies such as FAIR use on their guns and if it is the same then it's a good action. The ones I've seen are pretty light and would make a nice field gun, for the money I think you could do worse.
 
For use as a field gun is the exact purpose i want it. Looking for a quality nice handling gun for days where conditions arent suitable to bring higher grade guns. I havent read anything bad about fausti but theres very little info about the base models sold here.

I don't own a Fausti but like you I have handled them. That lower price strikes me as an excellent value. And if you get a good fit from them, that is practically beyond price in a double barreled gun.
 
seen them, shot them, they handle quite well, seem to be well put together, lumber is meh to ok. They kinda remind me of the Fabarm Elos, which were good guns at a great price point, but once word gets out that they are good guns, they will, much like Fabarm, get a little full of themselves and jack the prices up well out of reason.

When I see super flashy advertising and models promoting something, it makes me wonder why they're trying to sell a product that's so crappy it needs all this fluff to make it appealing.

They're gorgeous all right but they're not 'flashy models,' they're business owners promoting their product and doing it better than any other gun maker I've encountered. Except maybe Colt.ca, but that's another matter.

Obviously many have missed it.

Each custom gun has about 700 hours of hand engraving, the sisters are avid shooters and hunters and the company also makes guns under license for several other companies.
So, yeah they make crappy guns (sarcasm) and are just eye candy for the few who can not see past the eye liner and lipstick of the eye candy models err company owners.
A Fausti might not be for everyone, nor will a Perazzi , but there something for everyone.
And to the OP, I wouldnt be so shallow as to compare these women to the one you love and married.

What drew me to the company was theyre engraving and inlays. The multi colored inlays were very well done not like fugly blops. Im not a fan of gold inlays but fausti makes them look good. Also the protrait engravings are well done
Thats something thst interests me. Id like to test the waters with their brand and i can always use another hunting field gun the conrad caught my eye. Now i find myself looking at their higher grade guns

I have had mine for 5 years and love it. I also have berettas but I tend to use my fausti most often. I even bought a 20 gauge for my daughter. There arent many of them around but it shoots great and carries great. Dontthink you con go wrong.
 
Thank you. Well as it turns out i bought another beretta so ill have to wait a bit longer to buy the fausti as the beretta isnt the only gun purchased from the gun fund this month. As well as the fact ive been becoming more interested in their higher end guns
