My application was received on August 8
Application status went live on November 5 (3 months)
Realisticly I never expected anything back before Christmas, but will post any changes.

Status as recieved or with cc charged?
My application arrived 10 days after yours. If I can't see my status online next week I am gonna call them

Apparently I forgot to write my name on the picture I sent in...
but even worse, I apparently forgot to send in my restricted course certificate... WTF!
The agent on the phone said that it had just been flagged for a notification to go out a few days ago, so three months after being received their reviewing it. He also said it's a good thing I called since he acknowledged notifications are taking a long time to be sent, said I saved myself a month.
I can send in a copy of my certificate and new picture asap and get it back into processing.
If they've had your applications for a month or so, call, you just might save yourself some time.

Now I think I want to go for RPAL and join my neighbourhood club.

the use of word "witness" here is a bit concerning lol
no, expect to wait at least 3 to 4 week at min after you cc charge to get approved (with luck and clean history of course)
I’m sending mine off tomorrow. I have secret designation. I have no idea if it will speed it up or not. I’ll post my progress and see if it does.
Might have missed it, but how long does it usually take to have your application viewable online?
The RCMP received my application in Mid October, when I go to the website and enter my name to "view status" it says it can't find me.
I'm not sure if this is normal or if I messed something up on the application form..

My app arrived @ Miramichi Oct. 26th
I get the same "Error 1: We do not have any information that matches this data. If the data is correct please check your application status again at a later date."
I phoned the Chief Firearms Officer ... CFO ... for Manitoba and got a very nice lady who was helpful as opposed to the BFH i got at 1-800-731-4000.
She told me it was normal and that as soon as my app was being looked at then i could check my progress online.
She also told me that they are aware of the backlog problem exasperated by covid-19 and that they are in the process of adding additional staff to help clear the backlog.
So its hurry up and wait fellas

they are now with early-mid august applications, yours will show up in exactly 2 month if they keep up the current pace
