A lot of information here. If you scroll down to right near the very bottom, there is a searchable book. I found information on the BSA Parker site I have on a sportered Ross 1905. I also have a Ross with a Sutherland Rifle Sight C0. Ltd sight on it. Here is a snapshot of the info:

Hello kjohn. Edna Parker wrote a book entitled 'Century of Sights' in her last years. I suspect there was a ghost writer involved. She was the
grand daughter of A.J. Parker. She hated Charlie Ross who stole her grandad's patent. The lawsuit held up the manufacture of the Canadian
Ross Rifle battle sight found on the Mark III service rifle for at least a year. A.J got a few bucks settlement but nothing in comparison to Ross
who made the big bucks. I may still have some of her letters to me if anyone wants to do an article. I also have the screw elevating Parker
backsight which was the bone of contention, her autographed book, and several variations of the Ross Mark III battle sight in my collection.
Cheers. JOHN
