Anyone interested in getting a few people together and just go shooting at Selkirk? See what everyone shoots have some fun. Check out everyones rig kinda thing. Obviously need a membership. Maybe even tomorrow(long weekend) if we get a few guys or the following weekend.

Alternately if anyone is interested in shooting the team match in Miami next weekend the registration has closed but I still have room for a couple teams. Entry fee is $250 just message directly. Not to entirely hijack this post I’d be interested in doing a fun shoot after the match in a couple weeks.

I've been looking for people here in Wpg that are into PRS! I've shot tons of club matches down south but am dying to start shooting again up here! Are you talking about Miami Manitoba? or Florida?
 
Miami Manitoba. We have matches here in Shilo area about once a month or so. Usually just 1 day matches. I host a 2 day Rifleman’s Team Challenge match in Miami. It is currently the only RTC match in Canada. The next one will be July 31st and Aug. 1st.

1.) Are the Shilo matches still going on? Or was Nov 7th the last one.
2.) Will the 2021 Shilo matches be posted on the Facebook (Shilo Gun Club Group)? I'd like to start going to those.

Mel that is awesome, I'm definitely going to the RTC match next year, now to find a partner....

Is there a range near Miami? I really need to get some load development done and it's closer to me than anywhere else. I'd rather not drive 2+ hours each way to shoot 25 shots.

I don’t know of any ranges in Miami. Due to Covid the base is pretty well shut down for recreational activities. I’d say that matches are pretty well over with for the season. As I have been the only one hosting events in the province it gets tiring. If anyone else wants to host a match I’d be more than happy to help them out.
 
It makes me sad. My pistol hasn't been fired in 3 weeks, and my trigger finger is starting to get twitchy.

I'm heading out to the gravel pits to do load development. Hopefully it'll stay warm all week.

Become friends with a farmer in Western Manitoba and ask. Obviously it's a fair drive from Winnipeg, but that's how it goes, I guess. I have 1718 yards that I can shoot for about 8 months of the year.

From June to September, when the wheat, canola, and other crops are up, they make it hard to see the gong, ha
 
Very fortunate here as I can shoot in my back yard and do my load development.
And can shoot to 900 yards.
If your in Winnipeg, join the MPRA when covid hasn't got us shut down we shoot Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings at the Charleswood range. (during the summer)
The ranges very we shoot there, from 300-1000 yards. Good opportunity to shoot different ranges and varying conditions. Mostly they shoot e-targets there.
Which are about the best invention there is.
