Price of Lead

Lead-Nov20.jpg

He PAYS .60 per lb. for lead. What does he retail it for?

The lead I'm referring to is pure lead (source unknown) and in 20 lb. ingots.

I think Yomomma is right.
Getting more than 1.50/lb is pretty hard I think.

I'd pay $1/lb for clean ingots.

The same scrap place paid me a buck a pound about two years back actually so it has come down.

I was selling range lead at $1.50 per pound a little over a year ago. Clean ingots around 6 pounds each, ready to cast without any alloying. I'd probably up my price to about $2 now, mostly because I don't have time to screw around, it's gotta be more worth while.

Anyone know of any metal suppliers that will sell lead to individuals? I've heard of at least a couple in the past but I've been trying to locate one for a long time without much success. I need pure/soft lead, and have been striking out hardcore at every scrap yard I go to. The vast majority don't even want to talk to you if you're buying.
