PAL Wait Time

The RCMP received my application in Mid October, when I go to the website and enter my name to "view status" it says it can't find me.

I'm not sure if this is normal or if I messed something up on the application form..

That's normal and looking at the recent updates, it has been about 3 months for the application to become visible online. I think they charge your CC and enter online on the same day.

I have secret clearance and it didn't seem to speed up the PAL process.
 
Update on my post, I finally got issued and my card should be in the mail soon, they didn't even call my references. Sent mine off in early March 2020 and got caught in the COVID shutdown. Was originally a PAL app but I took the RPAL course in September and was able to send them that to upgrade my application to an RPAL. It's not moving fast....but it is moving. Good luck and just be patient!

4 month behind is the total processing time
granted 4 month of wait, his were received mid aug, that would make mid dec, not mid jan

My girlfriend took the PAL/RPAL course on July 4 and 5th of this year in the lower mainland. Mailed the application on July 27 using registered mail. Incidentally, the use of registered mail was a bit odd. The status remained at Out For Delivery for 3 months, and CP could not tell me anything more than that.

Her approved PAL/RPAL arrived today. So about 4 months after sending in the application. Her credit card was not charged until about 2 weeks ago, so it seems there is just a large backlog, or a deliberate slowdown. Impossible to know which.

But the good news is that applications are getting processed and approved, just slowly.
 
Hi any buddy from mid or late August get cc charged ?
Mine was received in the 26th of August and no thing yet pal non- restricted
Wondering when will be in process and if lucky enough to get it before the Christmas holidays

Applied August 13,

Initial review started November 25, account charged.

Talked to cfo today and they said it should be completed and mailed in 2 weeks otherwise call every week incase of errors that can be corrected over the phone.

does it say it was received august 13 in the individual application portal?
