I would assume that, being semi-automatic and the drum mag holding more than 5 rounds, this particular item would be illegal? Cheers!

Edit: question answered, thread closed. Cheers! :)

Two posts and claiming these magazines hold more then 5 rounds......troll...

Yep, expect more to pop in the run up to the Dec 6 grave dance.

Every forum has sensitive gatekeepers eh? I was just ignorant to the facts, hence why this was a quick question. What's the Dec 6 grave dance?

Edit: anyone know how to close a topic once it's been answered? Or reply so it doesn't get bumped?

I do apologize for some of the tense responses from some of the members here. Lot of frustration in the community since the March gun ban. The torrent of trolls and agitator accounts that followed up since hasn't helped much.

From short mags to drums, most if not all will be pinned to five rounds as per law. There are exceptions made with pistol designated magazines which will be pinned to ten. The nature of our firearm laws make for a lot of muddy ambiguity, so prepare for a bit of confusion once you start digging into the details.

Either way, Welcome to CGN!

Now you're trapped in an endless loop of CGN ranting about Lecole Polytechnique. And no way out. Look what you've started.
Just kidding. :d Welcome to CGN. It gets better once you get used to it.

Well yes and no. As your handle is, I'm guessing, an homage to the King of the Undying from a video game, I'm sure you'll graduate to IRL in due course.

It's all good, thanks for the welcome! I was quite frustrated when I learned of the ban as well, and a friend of mine is now stuck with several illegal weapons with no idea what to do with them. What's the point of trolling after the legislative changes? Seems like a silly waste of time.

Edit: OMG I just noticed your name! Tell me it's a STALKER reference! I'm buying a Mosin this Saturday... hopefully.

Ty! I've seen a lot of welcoming people already. Plus, I'm sure things will get warmer once I get some posts under my belt.

Nope, it's a reference to Sisyphus, a semi-mythical King of Corinth who was forced to push a boulder up a hill for all eternity as punishment for his ego. What does "graduate to IRL" mean?

"I said come in! Don't stand there."

Yeah, guilty. STALKER is my all time favorite game series. Mosins are fun! They may be a garbage rod, but they're good garbage rods. Find one and grab a big can of cheap 7.62x54R and see how long it takes to bruise your shoulder after a day at the range. I've got several mosins and they're always a blast to take out to plink stuff with the buddies.

Got a lot of Anti-gun folks that swing by to cause trouble and rub their 'progress' in our faces. It's nothing new, but it's certainly ramped up recently.
