I don't doubt it. Sooner or later every handgun will have a malfunction as I am not aware of any design achieving perfection. But if/when that happens, I'd rather be able to clear the malfunction with ease. I have no idea why they had this problem, and don't understand exactly how the thing got so seized up, but with so many options out there I figure why take the risk?

And I bought a SP01, with thin alum grips, guide rod and comp hammer. Sold the comp hammer and guide rod for like 150$, my CZ cost me like 500.
I also picked up a Springfield 1911 Loaded MC operator for 450$ ( one on CGN for 1900 ) nothing wrong with it. So yes you can get quality guns for Norc prices.
Too late to stop now. China owns us!
You got some great deals there but I would argue that those are few and far between. Sure, if someone is willing to wait that can happen but if it's a choice of not having something to shoot within a budget vs buying some budget choices I'll choose the budget choices. There are many inexpensive choices that are great for use at the range rather than competition level shooting.

May want to check where your cell, computer, TV, clocks, appliances, food containers, knives, forks, spoons, tablecloths, cell chargers, cords, light fixtures, door knobs, scales, hair dryers, are made.
Then check where your gun cases, trigger locks, holsters, mag pouches, vests, belts, scope rings, scopes, range finders, bipods, shooting tables, rests, bags, tools are made.
Norc pistols are such a small part of the don't buy Chinese problem. They got you, nothing you can do now, unless you want to buy everything from Germany or Japan and go broke!
Me? Have an NP34 (SIG 228 clone) and a Ruger 22/45. The NP34 has so many rounds thru it, is ugly, been used to introduce so many to shooting, it's just a tool not a safe queen. Owned lots of other pistols but at less then 350.00 my Norc is just fine, the money I saved went to lots of 9mm ammo. My ex CAF buddy actually shoots my NP 34 as well or better than his Glock, I don't shoot as well as he does.
The grips and SRT kit on the NP34 helped lots, oh and the all metal frame and mags drop free and don't bulge like the plastic Glock mags.
My 2245 is poly, but I prefer an all metal 9mm.
Seen lots of poly mag problems, never had any issues with my Colt, Ruger, or SIG metal mags. To me a good magazine is just as important as the pistol.

I have to admit, I take every opportunity to find things made elsewhere when I can. If there is one thing C0v!d!9 has shown, it's that having all your eggs in one basket (one country supplying everything), is a bad idea. Especially when China is run by a communist dictatorship with one of the worst human rights records in the world.
Now back to 9mm, my experience is only limited to a few models, but CZ overall is pretty good, I think you get a lot for your money with CZ, but Glock of course has a huge aftermarket and a track record for reliability. Honestly it seems like the competition is pretty good across the manufacturers, as long as you are getting a newer model. Also might be worth getting an optic ready model, if you think you might ever go that route (little bit more money though).

Yes, none of my guns, holsters, belts, slings, optics(save for 1 PA prism) are made in China. I'm a fan of owning less Chinese junk and go with fewer quality items. Same goes for guns. Unfortunately societt has serious problem with an insatiable appetite for having more sh*t. Most of which is sh*t. It's why Walmart is successful. Endless aisles of cheap sh*t, all of which fools the masses into believing they an have more because the prices are so low. Having more cheap sh*t is the same as having nothing.
Anyone else other than me responding on a Chinese phone or PC or Chinese modem. You cannot help not be part of the Chinese product problem. Love US rangefinders made in China as well. I challenge anyone to walk around your house and list everything not made in China, that will actually let one truly understand what is not Chinese made.... I stopped trying to fool myself about this years ago....

My phones from Vietnam!!! Ha so there. I have tried a few norc firearms. My 1911 had serious lockup issues, not to mention I can make smoother and more accurate cuts in steel holding an angel grinder with one hand and the part in the other. My brothers sxs short bbl shotgun from them is no different.... atleast if they worked right/were reliable the poor finish and crappy accuracy would be a bit easier to handle.
