9.3x62 Browning Bar !!!

I finally found my unicorn

I always wanted to get a semi auto thumper like this!
I thought about re chambering a 30-06 but no gunsmith i talked to was confident to do the work so I sold the bar mk2 I had set aside for this project last week and today I stumble upon a Herstal Belgium browning bar factory chambering in 9.3x62 !
Needless to say I bought it right away !

Anyone else have a semi auto in 9.3x62?

I bought one from Tradex last month. Haven’t been able to shoot it yet. It’s a surprisingly light rifle.

I have a couple of 9.3 bolt actions , I’ve never shot a 9.3 semi but I would think it would be a nice shooting rifle. The recoil is not so bad in a bolt action so in a semi with the action absorbing some of the recoil it’ll probably be quite pleasant to shoot.
Perfect rifle for a Tyrannosaurus rex stampede !

Here is mine. It’s got a Trijicon Accupoint with the German reticle in low Talley mounts. The recoil is surprisingly light considering it’s weight. It reminds me of my Crossman 2200 Magnum air rifle.
