DVC range PoCo info?

Yes it appear expensive, but how many lattes have you drank this week from starbucks. Shooting here cost less than 10 bucks a week and have freinds who smoke more than that a day. This is more healthy and you live longer.

If you dont like the price dont come down, if you have never been here and seen the place, maybe its time to step away from the keyboard and get a life. Sorry if you only spend $65 a year on ammo, well enough said. Mom said if you cant say something nice, shut the f...k up or something like that as she sat in the corner smoking 3 pack a day.

Ouch dude, you must be the only game in town to have such brutal customer relations skills.

There's the facts,then there's brutal.

Ouch!Me too!!
$65 a day and don't bother to bring your own gun or ammo?

Yeah,sounds a bit(!) brutal.Mind you,I don't live in Lalatown or Squamish.

I pay $75 per year for the family membership,indoors pistol 25 metres,outdoors 200 yards...shotgun,pistol.

It's a different deal, guys. This is not a club, it is a private, for profit shooting center. If you don't want to pay $65 for a daycard, pay $500 for an annual membership. In case you weren't counting, that's the same as I pay for a membership at Cliffhanger (a climbing gym), which takes up a similar amount of real estate. It is the same price as for a membership at a decent gym... name it. It's cheaper than *paintball* you big babies!

$65 including a gun and $20 worth of ammo is CHEAP. And if you want your ass to occupy a spot on the line worth $65 to the owner, you must pay what that spot is worth... $65.

Indoor. Heated. Professional. Close by. Open useful hours.

DVC is *the* range.

Hey, jimbubba: what nights can you use your pistol on the indoor? Just asking. If the answer is "when the archery guys aren't using it", then I know the club you belong to.

You get what you pay for. At DVC, you get a top-notch facility, professional staff, and six day-a-week availability.

Compare apples to apples.

Kelly explained to me that they DVC isn't able to get the same "Not-for-Profit status" insurance that other local clubs have. As a private enterprise, that is a primary factor in the price point of their day-card.

I pay that for my primary range too... I am stoked on the fact I can try dif. pistols without having to buy them and realise that I don't like them. (Seen my EE postings this year?). To me that is true 'added value'.

IIRC the drop in fee allows you to bring your own pistol cal. toys. BUT as an added bonus you get to try a NEW TO YOU gun out with A BOX OF AMMO. That is wicked...

That being said I am happy to 'pay to play' and don't collect cans to fund my game.

And since when is Squamish compared to Lala land...? Dude , it's an old logging town and I am pretty sure that toothless lady I saw last night in WalMart was NOT Paris Hilton.

Just wanted to add that you can shoot factory ammo out of the rental gun, but NOT your own reloads. That is all, you may carry!

If there's a good selection of rental guns, I'd certainly be up for a visit when I'm on the Mainland...can you give an idea of what you're stocking at the moment?

in 1988, Shooters Unlimited in lake city area (burnaby) charged $500 a year, with a waiting list to join. I got in for a $500/ 2year intro deal, and thought it was a good deal to be able to shoot indoors whenever I wanted.

Too bad they folded up and left all the members crying in their beer with thier $500 membership cards.

I wish better luck for DVC, the lower mainland can sure use a facility like this.

Well hmm $65 makes me wanna tell ya to get stuffed, but your 5 minutes away, indoor, have pistol rentals and targets you can control yourself heh.

Never waiting on some douchebag during a ceasefire anymore will be fantastic.

Now Smokin Gun, I have to ask you, what pistols do you have available for rental?

How much do you sell ammo for?

Also, any deals for couples/groups shooting at your range? I got my other half hooked on shooting as well.

I agree with pitdogboy. It would be worth it to run a full box through a Glock to reinforce what I already suspect......but OMG what if I actually liked it? Now that would be scary....

(The Glock I mean...I know I would like the range:)

Getting tired of telling people to stop by, if you want to see whats up, stop by. Sounds as if your walking distance from here, you dont live at the Cat and Fiddle do you? To many guns to list and not enough time, what am i still here. Ammo price differs between walk in and members and no i wont post it.
Sorry guys but if you want info, show up and meet the gang then pass judgement.
