Glock gen 4 springs

Hi folks. Just wondering what info may be floating around out there about just how significant the gen 4 return spring is. Is it that good? Does it really extend the life of your gun by much? Do u notice much difference in felt recoil? I'm gonna guess it isnt all that significant or other companies would have made their own dual spring designs.
 
All I've read is that it extends your replacement schedule from every 4000 rounds to every 8000.

Cant wait to find out. :)
 
It's a recoil spring ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Felt recoil = 0 difference.

P.S. Dual recoil springs aren't new or exclusive to Glock.

Glock's version is captured but dual recoil springs have been used by HK, Colt, Walther, MRI (just to name a few).
 
Longevity is the idea...any idea who sells aftermarket stainless or titanium recoil springs for gen 4 glocks g21
