In 1985 the outdoorsman package from chevrolet came with this rifle a winchester 94 30-30. I need one of these, does anyone know if they were here in canada? How i could acquire one or who may have one? Chevy nut/gun nut haha. Also i was born the same.year so i gotta have this rifle!

Now a relic of a bygone era, in 1985 you could order a Chevy truck with an Outdoorsman Package. It came in hunting trim with a bunch of gear that included with a Winchester Model 94 in . 30-30 complete with Chevy medallion in the stock, a Tasco scope, gun case, window rack, safety glasses, and a Winchester hat

I would much prefer the Colts SAA that Dodge offer that could be purchased in conjunction with the first run of Bighorn models...and that was only 15 years or so ago.
Ya, but you end up with a Dodge in the end. Not a very good trade off.

There are a few in collections up here .but they are few and far between .I have only seen two . One came from Toronto area collection ten years ago a buddy of mine has it . And there is at least one or two more in Montreal . Collectors usually hold on to them . You might have more luck finding just a medallion.
