Beretta A300

They are very nice guns, were in the mid price range when they can on the market
People tend to keep them, so when you see accessories and extra barrels for them, buy them

Theyre decent guns. Handle well and cycle reliably. They are a touch on the heavy side yet still produce more felt recoil than the a400 series. If i didnt have my a400 guns id have a a300 outlander and i think i could be happy

The outlander has a narrower slightly shallower forend and has a balance a bit further out in front. I also have a 303. While both guns fit me well i prefer the 303 for fit and handling. The new a300 is capable of handling light loads and 3" shells without having to swap barrels like the 303

I use 3" in my A300. Was really fortunate to buy some very nice 3" barrels for it on GN
One just has to be patient, Beretta people seem to look after their guns

I had an A300 for about 6 years, and for the most part it was a great gun and really reliable. I used it steady for waterfowl in the fall and skeet shooting all summer.

After about 3-4 years it developed a breach lock issue that started to deform and caused the bolt to not fully close randomly which made for often light strikes. What finally killed the gun after about 6 years, was the barrel would no longer stay tight in the gun after a few shots. Everything would be cleaned and tight, and a few shots later the barrel was completely loose in the receiver and gas port.

How many rounds would you estimate that it fired before wearing out?
