10/22 PDW style build

Hey guys,

Looking to build a 10/22 (or some other short barreled semi auto) with something like a 12" bbl and a collapsible stock similar to a Troy PDW or NEA CCS. One of the issues I see is that a lot of the chassis' out there don't look like they accept those stocks when fully collapsed. Not really sure what's out there that fits the bill.

Troy T22, Ruger SR-22/Nordic Components chassis should work. I believe a 14.5" barrel is flush with the forend on the T22. SR-22 has the option of shorter handguards but I don't know what availability is like right now.

I've handled a few of those chassis' years ago and I remember them being overly heavy. Trying to keep the weight down, if possible.

Stick a Troy/NEA PDW collapsing stock on there and that'd be just about good. What's the weight like on that thing? Looks like a heavy beast.

I just seen a presale listed here in the last week for a 10/22 chasis that offers a 1913 rail to mount your stock. The MCX/MPX stock would get you the PDW look but they are not really light weight.
