when my Grandfather come over from Malta back in the '50 , two years later he bought this 22 hornet, its a '49 model, and he shot one Pig in the mountains where he was a diamond driller for the big hydro electro works, then he lent it to his mates son and that was about it...
60 years later at me pops 80th i mention to the Son (whos old enough now 40 odd) an he Says , ya know what, I still got that Rifle .. an on that note he Brang it around to me the following Day.... oh, my god.....
since then, The now older Son, has welcomed me on to a private hut on their property to which i can maintain and go at will in the local mountains.. which wsa an old hermits original hut, who was the first local fella to get airborne as he built himself an old plane, more on that later down the track.. but nostalgia... eat yer heart out
