Shot a good fun match to day. Various scenarios taken from the movie.

At one point I was in an elevator shaft, shooting at 6 bad guys ( I double tapped them) and then had to shoot Hans Gruber, who was holding my wife hostage. We were required to shout Yippie Kay Ya M Fer before engaging the hostage target.

Each month is a different movie.

Have fun. Stay safe.

If it was rifle, participants could have been required to shout “HO HO HO, now I have a military-style assault rifle”.

Ok, fair enough. Lol. I just wanted to get some ideas from the stages that were shot. Maybe even contact the club and ask for the stage layouts. Sounds like a fun match, just wanted to learn more about it is all.

While I very much love the guys that put on this match in Guelph and had fun with people I like, there definitely could have been some more stages added and some props to be more thematic. The stages themselves were pretty blah and straight forward.

True. When we had to lay on our back and shoot up through the table, we already knew where the targets were. In the movie, John did not know.

This sounds pretty awesome for a shoot scenario. When I go to the local tree lot at the mall before Christmas (after 2-3 weeks of my wife asking me to get a tree) I think of the tree lot scene in Lethal Weapon.

My scenario always ends with me saying "I'll take that one please", and a 5 dollar tip to the dude working there when he asks me if I want him to cut off the base of the trunk before we load it in the back of my truck. Then he tells me about how to water the tree like I'm an idiot and I respond like I'm really grateful that he saved me from wrongfully caring for a dead tree that sheds needles every day til January when my wife allows me to take it down and put it in the back of my truck to go drop it off at the city-approved tree drop.

I thought the best part of the morning shoot was the helicopter. We had to hang from the copter with our strong hand and shoot with the the weak hand.

Of course, we did not have a helicopter skid to hang on, so we hung from the target retrieval rails.

It was not too difficult to hang by one arm (were were allowed to wear a glove) but we had to triple tap 6 bad guys. I had never reloaded with one hand before.

Maybe some other can chime in here with descriptions of the other stages. I was so busy running and gunning I forget the details.
