Scorpio EM332A Bolt Action Rifle .22lr

Did you get the wooden stock EM332 in Canada? (I'm in New Zealand).

Can anyone confirm that the 10 shot EM332A mags fit in one of the EM332's that came with a 5 shot mag please?

The original importer of the rifles here hasn't had replacement mags for the EM for many years, and says that they will never get anymore! Importing some 10 shots from over there seems like the next easiest option.

Hi Fellows,

a quick question. Can Scorpio EM332A shoot fast ammo such as Stingers, Aquila SuperMaximum and CCI Segmented HP?
Do those have standard case dimensions? I'm new to 22LR.
I'm in process to order this rifle and want to order some ammo together.

Here is the list of ammo I order (12 different types in total to be able to figure out which one works best )

Federal 22 Long Rifle Ammo 40 Grain Lead Round Nose Range Pack 275 Rounds × 1 $23.99
Aguila 22LR Interceptor 40gr SP Ammunition Box of 50 × 1 $11.99

It should handle those. It will shoot any .22LR ammo. Take all the ammo you got out to the range or your shooing area. Set up some targets and see which ammo groups best in that gun for you. It will chamber and shoot all the ammo you mentioned above. It will not shoot .22mag ammo so just make sure it is .22LR and you are good to go. You will probably find the fast stuff might not group as good as the standard velocity ammo each gun is diffent though on the ammo it likes .

Thanks buddy for the info. I will give a try to all of those ordered. Everybody says like you should try many kinds of ammo to find which shoots best out of a particular 22LR barrel.
Btw, I've also been talking to someone at Tenda and asked a similar question. That guy told me that he does not suggest to shoot the supersonic 22LR ammo because it shortens barrel life. From the other side one of my friends says that for 22LR the barrel resource is around 80K shots in avg. So given the low price ($169.99) for that bolt rifle, I think I will shoot the hell out of it and whatever works best regardless of velocity.
I placed that order with Tenda. They are currently low on staff and holidays coming.., so they did not ship it yet. Hopefully next week maybe.

Yes the wood stocked ones were sold by marstar a few years ago.

They do fit about 98% anyway. But some of the mags need abit of selective filing to make that 100%. There is a YouTube video and a thread on this board with tips to make them fit. These mags are in stock at tenda

Hi comrades,
I've finally received it! Tenda has them on sale at $169 right now. I've done testing and zeroing today. Actually, it is my 1st 22LR .. )
And it looks like a shooter. I was able to put 4-5 bullets (1280 fps Rem Cyclone) in a 25-cent coin sized circle at 25 yds using that iron sight which is not bad given my aging tired eyes.

Questions:
- which scopes go you guys use on this rifle? I want something not too expensive maybe up to $200...250 max, not too big/heavy, up to x9 magnification, preferably with at least 3 dots or more to be able to shoot it up to 100...120 yds, preferably with no parallax adjustment - I hate wasting time when all you need is to take a quick shot while hunting. A fixed x4 or x6 zoom scope with no parallax would also do the job for me.
- scope mount solutions ... ?
Thanks.

I spend as much money on the optic as I do the rifle I wouldn’t put anything more than a 150 bucks on this... maybe a bushnell fixed 4 or a 1x something or 2 something whatever is on sale don’t think it matters that much for this kinda rifle.

a quality scope will be a joy to use, and will get transfered from rifle to rifle. you will be stuck with a junk scope , unused once that rifle is gone. wasted money.

Look for a nikon 2-7 or 3-9 rimfire scope or some other quality brand on the EE. They are in your price range. I agree with the post above don't waste a cent on a cheap scope.
