Reloder 16

Glad I snagged an 8 pounder off the EE for a good price the other day. Haven’t tried it yet. Will load some up in the 06
 
These guys advertised free shipping. Their website tallied my final order with free shipping. When I hadn’t heard from them sending it out for a couple of days I emailed them. They responded that they were trying to figure out how to ship powder to me but that it wasn’t going to be free. They would get back to me with a quote when they found a solution. So they sell powder but have no clue how to send it out? Seems mighty strange to me.

Exactly. Powder is not on that list.

Yeah I'd love it if the price increase of unavailable powder also included free shipping. Why not make it expedited as well. But I'm a real cheap-skate. I'd buy it all!

Western Metals shipped my 6 lbs of Reloder 16 for free (orders over $300 ship free) and it was cheaper per lb than BV Outdoors. Canada Ammo ships my powder for free at $200 minimum.

BV should know the shipping procedure and costs for gun powder before they make it available for shipping on their website. Even if the shipping cost eats their profit on this one, it's a little $250 order. Chalk it up to a learning curve and change the policy on the next one.

Lots of reloaders will take that order and pay the shipping for it.
Let us know if you decide not to go ahead with it because of the shipping...
 
Fwiw, Sieghard, the owner of BV outdoors is excellent to deal with.
I have ordered all my Meindel boots from him. 5 stars.
