I was bored, so did a quick survey of the fancy scopes exchange.

Lots of Trijicon, mostly LPVOs from ARs, go figure.
Lots of Swarovski binos and spotters.
Strong showing from USO.

If you guys can show me where the sub-$1500 Razors and Bushnell XRS 2s are all hiding, please do. I'll buy that peasant garbage right meow.

I would think used sales quantities would be more of a reflection of a manufacturers time in the marketplace, their percentage of market share, rapidly evolving features desirable to competition and government regulatory changes than any quality issues.
Some of these brands have been around forever so it’s inevitable that some would be up for sale.
Some have sold so much volume that you know used sales will result from impulse purchasing.
Look at how fast various rifle disciplines have evolved...a high end scope 2-3 years ago is easy to be talked into replacing for the newest kid on the block.
And as fast as the Liebrals started their sh#t many people have put up some rather expensive optics for obvious reasons.
What I get a kick out of is this is the first forum based on elitism...I would have bet it would have been shotguns first...
Who knew optic snobs were the leader of the pack, lol...

Bored again. Drop in overall ads, NF helped by one fella selling 4 of 'em. Mid-range stuff like Leopold/Bushnell/Zeiss still there, but less higher end like Swarovski or S&B

Bushnell and Vortex might be high end in an alberta trailer park, but on what has become an international forum, this is a big stretch.

A Vortex crossfire isn’t the same as a Vortex Razor. Bushnell has a similar brand range. Ignoring this is the same as talking down about a certain ethnic group because your pool boy’s tight shorts distracted your present trophy wife.

Who decides what "high end" is? This designation cannot be based solely on price, as we have seen with King optics, Quigley, Huskemaw etc. that high price does not = better.
