A 175 grain bullet at 2840 fps in a Short Action is pretty useful... the question will be whether or not they can make any inroads into the insane amount of 6.5 Creedmoor propaganda... at least to attract enough buyers.

Shorter than WSM. Longer bullets for the long range fad, without having to seat deep into the case. Likely on the M70 WSM platform.

It will need at least an 8 twist barrel to launch those missile .277 bullets... and probably 7.5 twist would be even better. My interest would only be as a hunting cartridge with moderate bullets, like the 150 Accubond... an 8.5 twist would be plenty for that even over 3K fps. The problem is that there are other rounds that can do that, perhaps in a different way... having said that, new stuff is fun to play with.

Or just chamber some M70 rifles in 6.5 PRC and make brass and ammo for it.

It's success will all depend on how well they market it and if they can get an endorsement.

Winchester sure loves to flaunt their 270 sibling/offerings. I do wish for a faster twist on my M70s in 270 and 270wsm, guess I got to get whatever this is to complete the collection
