That is a Mt St.Patrick buck.Still pretty local. How did you fellas do?

You could not of been too far away from us, I was in 59 near Dacre just south of Constant Lake.

I don't know if just our spots but we never saw anything in the morning, they were always coming around last light 4:00pm-4:30pm.

Beautiful Area. Great buck :)

UMmmmmm am i missing something? You shot 6 deer how can you do that? I wanna know because i want to shoot that many. I know there is the queen charlotte island where you are alowd 15 deer a year. but you would never see one that big there.

Correction.Seven deer now.Another spike buck this morning.
Ontario has party hunting where you can fill other hunters tags in your gang. Its a wonderful system.

SMART, I thought when I read the thread you must be a real trophy hunter, couldn't be more wrong. I could never figure out people that want to just go killing trophy animals and could really give a ####. You obviously don't want it for trophy value, you didn't even cape it? That's not the kind of deer you would want for meat. That's about as smart as shooting a spiker on the last day cause you have to justify the price of the tag :jerkit:

Who the hell are you to judge? He stayed within the laws of his province and shot a good deer. Perhaps he'll Euro mount it or simply cut off the horns and nail them to the fence post. The point is, it's none of your business.

And for the record that type of deer in our groups becomes the "sausage deer" and I shoot spikers because they make good chops and roasts -- though yearling fawns are better.:D
