External thread choke tubes?

I have never seen an external threaded gun for choke tubes ... but I believe the Beretta Model 302 is...

Me neither. After reading Mike's question I went looking and, sure enough, they do exist. Even found a couple models for sale in Canada (of third party external chokes, that is).

I had a beretta A301 with funky choke you dropped in and were held there with an external nut that threaded on the outside of the barrel , then there's ole ugly the polychoke.

Gemini makes external thread chokes for some euro guns. Saiga is m22x.75
Maybe threaded for some odd breecher choke/break. M22x1 is used for some suppressors.
What kind of shotgun/barrel.

It's for a RMO-93 Rys-y
- I'm kind of giving up getting one out of Russia...

Good idea! I just emailed them...

Fabarm martial sdass are externally threaded for chokes, I couldn’t get a definitive answer on what the thread size/pitch was. Fabarm Italy directed me to the Canadian dealer, who in turn never got back to me. Both were useless lol.

I have an 870 barrel that’s been threaded externally for a Saiga choke adaptor, standard Saiga thread pitch that accepts winchokes. Iirc a model or two of Hatsan 12g’s are externally threaded as well.

Got an answer from Gemini (that was fast), they don't make anything with that thread pattern.
- So it's safe to assume the Breda/Fabarm wouldn't work, as they do make external choke for them...

Maybe I could get a Poly choke threaded?

I'll msg Interammo, but as far as I know. None the RYS imported in Canada had them... Armrus was supposed to get some, but the chokes probably went missing when CBSA confiscated the container with the Medved-3/Vepr rifles...

OK, seems like my google-fu is not up to par tonight :p
- Anyone knows of a list/cross reference for external choke tubes?

Trying to find who/what uses a M22x1 external thread...

Tks,
Mike

I have an Italian made semi-auto shotgun, made in the 1950's ( I think). Make is Breda & model is MK 2. It has external threads on muzzle
for it's choke tubes. Over the years I have seen several of these guns , all with external threaded choke tubes. Hope this helps.
