The son of a friend passed away suddenly a few years ago and my friend ended up with his guns. He is now looking at selling them off and I have been able to give him what I think are reasonable estimates on all but this one. It's a brand new, unfired Browning Hi-Power 75th Anniversary Edition. It has two mags but I'm not sure if he has the original box. Regular (not Inglis) Hi-Powers in good shape seem to be selling in the $900ish range so I'm guessing this would be worth more than that but I'm not sure how much more.

Any idea what a fair price might be?

I dunno,
I collected HPs for years (still have several) and never once did I wish to add a 75th to my collection
Personally, I would think 700-800 would be a price i'd pay for the typical 75th

I’m assuming you’re talking about the Hi-Power Standard 75th? Has engraving on the top of the slide forward of the ejection port?

If yes, I’d say you could likely get the same as a similar condition normal production Hi-Power. Unfired and cased as from factory, perhaps $1000. Fired, no case, etc price drops into the normal $750-850 range. Personal opinion only, but the 75th is less desirable due to the engraving. I find it gimmicky on an otherwise superb firearm.
