My My, how the tide has turned for the SKS...

Is reloading 7.62-39 getting more common? At least for those looking to get better groups. Yes it is costly but interesting.

I tried my hand in that, but too time consuming, lol. If I want exceptional accuracy, I buy Prvi soft points. Barnaul works very well for me anyway.

They're actually very cool milsurps. People turn their nose up at them, but for a gas-operated semi, they're robust, and a lot of fun to shoot. When I bought mine at $200, I felt that was undervalued. I think SKS is coming up to its proper value now.

(In 2008, I sold two LE4 for $350 each, and last year bought one in slightly less condition, for $800... lesson = never ever sell a gun).
I was just recollecting on some rare beauties I once owned and will likely never find again, nevermind skyrocketed values. Yep, NEVER SELL

prvi or barnaul worked for me as well ... before that stupid boat accident and the worst was that it happened while still ice on the lake ...

Why?? why you had to talk about boat accident.... Bring back painful memories.... Now my day is so so sad,yes i bought another boat, still like boating in far far back country :)

Couple of fairly priced nice examples on there as of last night. Not surprised they are gone. Considered pulling the trigger on one in particular.
