Pictures of S&W M27 and M28 Post them Here!!!

More than I paid for the last two I had, but less than I've seen them advertised lately. It has a bit of a turn line on the cylinder but it looks like its in decent shape.

So many nice firearms there that unfortunately I don't have the option of buying. The prices on really nice Smith prohibs is ridiculously low, I could have bought a lifetime supply of snubby .38's without getting in trouble with the wife! Another was a pretty nice Thompson, unaltered, $2500. A damn shame. Saskatoon gun show in case any of you local prohibbers haven't been yet.

I was back at the show today with my older son and the seller let me play with it again, here's a crappy pic:

I'm loving all the photos. I don't a gun yet. However, I'm very excited as I just purchased a S&W M17-4 for my very first gun! Can't wait until it arrives. Keep the pictures coming!

S prefix (1964) 27-2 with the brightest polished blue finish I’ve seen and scarce 6 1/2” barrel wearing period correct Sile target grips.

Been re-reading my old Skeeter Skelton books. Do I ever want another 27 in the stable. Those 5 inch models are still a treat to look at.

Yep. And the only thing better than a stock 5", is one that Murray Charlton did the trigger on....that would be the one in the middle, wearing Erhends stocks. The Pre 27 on the bottom, and the Model 10 on top have gone to others, but that 27-2 is a never sell gun.

I have the urge to start a S&W revolver collection. Those are all beautiful. I have to ask...How do you guys find the older guns? Revolvers like that actually show up on EE from time to time?

you sold a pre 27? Did it have Coke bottle grips, those on it do not look like them.

I bought a brand new S&W model 27 5" barrel only from Armco. I am installing it on a 4" Model 28 to change it from a prohib to restricted so I can give it to my brother as a gift.

5" 27's are hard to find, I do not think I have ever seen a 3 1/2" in person.
