Coyote pricing

Was wondering what people are getting for coyote prices this year. Interested in what the private groups are paying as I don’t think there has been an fur auction this year yet

People still talk of the demand, between mange and sub prime hides where I am in Ontario, I figure nearly worthless. Until china or Europe can access our auctions it's not looking good. Local trapper here still had 60+ unsold from last year at auction.

Just sold 18 today in Manitoba, averaged $83 , but had 5 that were really poor and they were only $20each, so they really brought the average down.

Just following your scene, I can't see southern Ontario at least, producing high quality pelts.

Last I talked to my local trapper they were saying lucky to get 40$ for treated pelts(obviously they were off with what you have said)...

Beaver had some value

$50.00 for a frozen coyote.

Fur buyer came to town last week. He gave me $120 each for all my large and extra large coyotes. Had two of this years pups that he gave me sixty five dollars each. Wish I would have had them all done up as I still have 10 in the freezer.

A buyer stopped by last week and I sent him to a fella down the road. He gave him $2300 for 23 stretched and dried coyote hides

$100-120 here in southern SK. Fur starts to go down hill end of Jan.

GWF is doing a fur traceabilty program next pick up ,they say they will pay more if you sign up.

Sold a few to GWF in Jan so results are 9- $100-130 ave115 and 5 for ave $60

any questionable hides with mange go into the incinerator. the young fellow that skins them out is only taking the better hides as it is not worth the work .this is in southern ont.

So, 18 at $83 each brought $1494. Five at $20 each is $100, so the other 13 were $1394.

That means the 13 that were not poor, averaged $107 each.
