Hello Everyone
Looking to the internet for thoughts and advice what to do with a Savage 99 250-3000 with brass counter on rotary magazine and checkered wood stock. (No photos at the moment as I have been storing it with my folks, my small safe if full). It was my first rifle as a youth, but never fit properly at the time, stock was never modified to fit a youth. Additionally, I never found myself using it a lot to practice with as the ammo was hard to come by. As a result I purchased a 30-06 then a 7mm-08 and have left it sitting in the safe.
Now I’m cleaning house a bit an am uncertain what I should do, so though I would ask the mobs thoughts.
1) Continue to hoard another rifle.
2) Keep it for my children. Don’t want to cut up the beautiful wood stock and think I would rather go with something that was better ammo availability. So, I don’t think this is the best option.
3) Sell it don’t know the Canadian rates these days, but I image they are less then the US crazy prices.
4) Another option I didn’t think off.
Cheers
