.22lr Victory

Not sure why you couldn't. Unless I'm missing something.
If its chambered in 22lr you should be able to use any ammo marked 22lr.
MiniMags are are one of the best without getting into specific target ammo.

ok, thank you!

If your looking for accuracy and reliability, I wouldnt shoot any copper washed bullet despite what the keyboard warriors tell you. Ask anyone that knows anything and theyll agree with me. Pistols are not rifles and the ammo required for a pistol is not the same as a rifle ammo. The short barrel of most pistols require different ammo than rifles. Like any rimfire only brand and lot numbers will show you what works. PS a 22 magnum cartridge will not not chamber in ur pistol and be glad it doesnt.

Let me know what ammo seems to work the best for you .. I'm still waiting for the reg. cert. for mine so it just sits in the safe waiting .....

Speaking of "keyboard warriors" ...lol.

OP if you are just looking at shooting targets for fun or plinking you can shoot any 22lr in your 22lr pistol. If you are heading into some high end target competition naturally you will want to find the best match ammo that works best in your pistol but I'm pretty sure you are just out to enjoy yourself.

I have literally tens of thousands of copper plated bulk .22lr through my Ruger mkII pistol and it has been very accurate and 100% reliable. Buy what is cheap and plentiful and have fun. You absolutely do not need specific 'pistol' .22lr. You may find different brands are more reliable, or accurate in your specific gun but that is just the nature of .22lr.

In my experience I found CCI and Federal. 22lr to be the most reliable. Given the dwindling supply of 22 these days buy what you can and have fun. If you can buy a box or two of a few different brands and styles and see what you like better then stock up on that if you can. CCI MiniMags are always a good choice to start with. Enjoy your new pistol.

Why no copper washed? I just picked up a victory a short while ago and have yet to go to the range.

Yeah...... I guess it depends on what you call accurate and reliable. But my son's Ruger Precision shoots CCI Stingers and Mini Mags better than almost every other non Lapua ammo out there. Between 0.25 and 0.75 groups at 50 yards. Accurate and so far 100% reliable.

Both my .22s ( s&w mp, s&w victory) jam with lead nose, I switched to copper washed and my guns run way beter. Tried multiple brands of both, my guns just like copper. Really just depends what your gun wants to eat and what ull deal with ;)

Cci mini mag .22 hv have been top shelf in my victory
