Looking for input on an accuracy comparison between three types of slugs and two chokes.

I have a Browning BPS (Invector Plus chokes) and I am trying to determine the best "target style" slug to use with it. I understand that because the barrel is back bored I won't likely get top notch accuracy but still want to do best I can.

The barrel will be the 22" upland barrel with the chokes noted below.

I want to test:
Aguila mini slugs
S&B "Olympic" Slugs
Score Low recoil slugs

And for chokes:
Improved cylinder
Carlsons rifled choke.

I'm reasonably sure the Carlson will be at least a little better the question is how much.

My sight is a Fastfire 3 8MOA mounted via a Meadow Creek vent-rib mount so not the final word in precision.

I am thinking a 5 shot group from each load through each choke at 50 yards should be a good test. I am thinking to use a five inch circle as the target, this will allow me to nest the red dot fully inn the circle and still see a border.

Sound reasonable? Any predictions?

Someone will probably dispute this but based on my experience, rifled chokes don't do a single thing to improve accuracy. You will probably find most of those ammo manufactures recommend IC choke or even more open than that.

I had good accuracy with Score Low recoil slugs.

Yeah I've heard mixed feelings on rifled tubes. But I've also seen a few sources showing pretty dramatic results. I really couldn't bet on what I'll see.

Buffalo Outdoors showed a lot of improvement on his vid.

The first few I shot seemed reasonably accurate. That was just the few I shot at 20 yards to get it zeroed in. They were punching clean holes in the paper with the spiral edges intact so it seems they hadn't tumbled in that short distance and also probably weren't squeezed very much, if at all, by the IC choke.

When I sight in @ 50y with slugs I just use a big piece of cardboard and make a big black or red dot with a sharpie, 1”-1.5” in size. I will cover the dot or place the bead at the bottom edge of the dot so I can easily replicate my aiming point and sight picture, I usually shoot off bags as I want to eliminate any user error and see how well the gun actually shoots. After I sight in I shoot a few freehand shots to confirm poa/poi, I’ve always found a mod choke to be the best all around choke for slug accuracy and shot pattern density with 00buck and birdshot.

Thanks for the input, modified might be a good option too. Especially with the Invector Plus because they are larger at each respective size I believe (because its based on relative constriction from an overbored barrel).

My Carlsons tube came in today. Anxious to see if there's much effect or if I've simply lightened my wallet a little.
