Which is your Least Favourite Task in your Reloading Routine ?

Reloading! It sucks.

It's just a means to an end - I like shooting, I need lots of custom ammo - so I reload.
If I hit the Lottomax, I'd buy the sh@t from someone or hire someone to do it.

Trimming, chamfering and deburring for me though I must admit that I hate trimming far less than I used to after I picked up a Franklin Arsenal Universal Precision Case Trimmer. Now instead of passionately hating it I merely dislike doing it.

All the initial case prep to turn 220 Russian into 6PPC and 6BR to 30BR. 6BR to 30BR my least favorite when it comes to neck turning.

Never got to it.

Many guys around me weight and sort brass, bullets and primers.
I just buy the best quality components and hope for the best!

I rather enjoy it.
After first fire forming, primer pocket uniforming (ugh), resizing, neck-turning and trimming and SS wet cleaning, then my Brass gets sorted out into lots of 75. Once and done for evermore!

Buy a couple thousand projectiles in the winter (for the up coming season), put a pair of Hornady Comparators on the calipers, bottle of Bushnells & some Pepsi, sit down and binge watch something on Netflix. The whole batch can be sort by bearing surface length in one night.

Primers.... meh, I don't have the patience for that.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy most tasks until certain task get me a hand cramp and aching joints (I have some mild Arthritis).
Namely, pocket uniforming and metplat trimming (on a Hoover trimmer)... sucks after a while.

I hate cleaning the lube from sized cases the most. Not an option so i did not vote.

I just pitch them all in my tumbler, 30 minutes later lube all gone

The first time I fully prep brass.... mostly the primer pockets I think.... but I think it’s worth it? I guess.

I selected "Quality Control" because case inspection is the one task that I do not deliberately perform when I know I should. Finding those split necks constantly reminds me that I really need to be paying attention, though.
