kodiak wk180c do I buy

well here it is. Its their newest version.
I love the sturdy folding stock and the longer barrel sheild.
Trigger seems light and crisp. A shell deflector as well.
havent shot it yet. hope its not a bunch of junk.
will give honest update after shooting it.

^^^^ Cool. I like the longer hand guard. Very nice. I’m not liking that stock as it wouldn’t offer a great cheek weld, at least for me. But I wonder if it could be replaced?

I might have to pick up another one for a DMR build. :)

There's versions that use a buffer tube instead of the galil-style stock. As for a DMR build, I would go with another platform altogether if you want real precision. If you're just looking for a DMR-style plinker (meaning you want the looks but not so much the accuracy) then by all means use a -180 variant.

Ya..I'll see once I get the Magpul sites how it all kinda fits...maybe good or bad. No cheek welld for sure

I assume you will be running a red dot in that case? Or you can gonna try to get a cheek riser going on the folding stock?

To tell you the truth..I dont like it..lol but what do buy ? tried the t97 ...yikes, just couldnt do it
. Its a heavy brute,..like my old FN. trotting through the bushes would be a chore. 18 inch barrel is way to long. Oh well. we will see how it acts...perhaps it will grow on me.." like an un wanted wart" LOL
I will always miss my 10 inch AR.

The Galil-style stock doesn't give you ideal cheek weld with a magnified optic but it is usable. With a red dot it's fine.

As to the accuracy, mine shoots <2 moa (over multiple 5rd groups) with bulk 55gr AE, the 62gr load I used in my AR and a load I worked up with 55gr Vmax and sub <1.5moa with 75gr handloads which imo, is plenty good for a "DMR". You could improve on that with a nicer trigger and you could always spin on an actual "precision" barrel, IBI will do them, I believe.

I cant run a red dot. my eyes are screwy. I see 8 dots instead of one. "doctor said I have blue light scatter?"
so I'm stuck with Magpul flip ups or scope........that would add even more weight to this 1960's Cadillac
and yes might have to put something on the cheep weld.....or run it how it is.
