I have a series 80 1911 Gold Cup that Id like some custom work done on it. Trigger, hammer, etc... IPSC stock/classic and as a target pistol. To whom would people suggest?

I should soon have mine back.
RIA 45
Trigger, front/ rear sights, hammer, beaver tail.
I'll post when I get it.

Got mine back from Rodger today.
Overall,I'm happy with it.
Had a new trigger installed,it breaks at 3 1/2 lbs.
New beavertail and larger hammer.
Dawson adjustable sights.

Theres a couple of scratches around the front sight, but I'm not to concerned with that.

The only other thing I'm not sure of,is the front spring plug.
This one has a hole in it and is jagged and sharp.
My other spring plug was solid with a rough finish.

Yes, it wasn't like that when it left here.
I wonder what's up with the spring plug.
Feels like the top of it was cut off some how.

I bought the gun for my son to use,he wanted a nickle gun with pearl grips. Hes 14,what can I say..lol
It's only an RIA,so I'm not bothered by the scratches, but am curious about the top of the plug, being cut off?

Your spring plug could be one used for a FLGR. Full length guide rod.

Double Tap Sports is worth a mention. They are an excellent shop in their own right for anything 1911/2011. Josko builds some fantastic pistols and does really nice work.
