SOLD OUT: TYPE 81 LMG Shipment 3.

They are supposedly staked in place which means removing them from unsold rifles will still render them broken and useless for the most part. That would do no good for anyone. You had a weird one. Everyone with a loose one for the most part has a staked and immovable bolt.

not weird but from the first shipment i saw a few changed and stained the grips, mine is from the first shipment so my suggestion wouldnt work now.

i just tried to remove the grip from my second shipment and i only managed to do half a turn on the screw.

Well after really giving it a college try and without totally destroying the bolt I give up. It looks to me that the top of the bolt is flared out and off center slightly to the nut. Which is why it will loosen a few 1/4 turns. Pretty sure if I tightened it as much as possible and dremeled the top of the bolt off a thread I could probably get it out. Way more effort than I want to in case I wreck it. But of a bummer. Also such a crappy Phillips screw head.

Hi, anyone have trouble removing upper handguard piece? Yes I’ve read the manual a dozen times and watched multiple YouTube dissemble video, I’ve tried everything but it just won’t come off.....

right dial "5" facing rearward and pull out left dial about an 1/8" and turn forward while right hand is pulling up on the upper. good luck.

Order number 93XX, picked up my blued LMG today. First impression after the initial cleanup- man, this thing just oozes badassery. Wood's nice, fit and finish is good except for some weird machining marks towards the end of the barrel and bulbous welding on one of the bipod feet... nice heft to the rifle, bipod and carry handle lock up good, there isn't any looseness in the pistol grip. I swear the trigger has a lighter pull than my folder, I'll have to double check later. I already loved the regular T81 and the LMG is shaping up to be even better.

Thanks for making it happen TI, I anticipate many a fun range day going forward!

Tried that still stuck..... thanks anyway

The knob can be a real pain to pull out and twist forward as it’s thin and hard to grab plus the internal spring is stiff
Keep trying you will get it
Do you have the phosphate version? With the one I have I found the parkerizing made it gritty and more difficult to move the knob
I sprayed a bunch of gun oil on and around it and worked it until I got it

Nice pictures from TI of the T81 LMG, just wish mine would arrive, ordered 6th Jan #94xx and still showing as order being processed.

FYI (just in case your order hasn’t shipped yet) or for other people looking. My order 94xx just shipped, so anyone around there should be getting a rifle shortly.

Yes I got the phosphate version. Will keep trying with heavy duty gloves on... thanks

Same here.

Good luck if your west of alberta. My rifle shipped on the 10th and its still not here. It left alberta on the 10th and was never scanned again. Canada post west of alberta is Fu€*ed. I called them and told them I'm reporting it lost so they are desperately trying to find it before the deadline i gave them. If they haven't found it by Friday I'm reporting it stolen
We shall see if they find it.

Coming from Vancouver heading to Edmonton, I had a small package passed from international shipping to to Canada Post eleven days ago, and it's still showing as delayed, so I will second packages between BC and the rest of Canada being fracked right now.

Makes you feel any better I’ve been shipping and receive a lot during these times and that time frame normal for right now, also they don’t seem to be scanning/updating the packages recently, for example I will have a package not
move for 4 weeks, then it suddenly scan by my house and shows up.

My observation is standard shipping world wide went slow at the start of December and it hasnt caught up yet. Ive waited literally a month for things from California. But yet some things shipped via express and with a more private courier like Fedex or UPS have arrived fast.
