Beretta buys Holland and Holland

A car analogy that isn't listed, but probably better describes the relationship is that Volkswagen owns Bentley, Porsche, Lamborghini and Bugatti. Beretta is one of the world's oldest privately owned companies and have been in the gun business continuously, and for longer than anyone. Seriously, they started out making arquebus barrels in the middle 1500's then got into naval guns - for the City State of Venice - in the 1600's. They probably won't screw up running a gun company, they pretty much wrote the book.

I agree. I can think of a long list of companies I'd rather not see buy H&H than Beretta.
