I would assume the foreend comes off and allows the barrelled action to lift off.

The "wood" stocks on the Bergara BA13 units are synthetic, as in Rem Nylon 66 type, and they take down the same as many break open shotguns. No tools needed.

I was for a time considering a single shot spanish rifle. Couldnt find a 35 whelen in person. Of the few the traditions g2 seemed the best. Just my opinion
