These guns have been out for a bit now. Just wondering if anyone has picked one up lately? There is still almost nothing for reviews on the net.
Are they still having mag problems? I seen them on sale and it perks my interest,

I'm hoping to read more on these. I just ordered one so I'm hoping the one review I read is true (needs a bit of a break-in period but then quite nice).

I've put 300 rounds through mine with no issues. It's not my favourite pistol, but for the price it'll be a good one to let friends use at the range

There is trigger issues.

From what i see the trigger bar is rubbing/scraping against something when an empty mag is inserted (there is resistance, friction).

You need to push the trigger forward for it to reset.

It affects the double action reset and is leaving you with a dead trigger.

From what i see there is no issue when mag isn't empty or simply not inserted and in single action.

Every magazine I've had for them has had feeding issues, but it's an easy fix. You just need to sand an angle on the lips so the rim of the case won't get caught.

I actually really like the look of it, reminds me of gen1 Glock 17 and early Grand power models. Only reason why i haven't got it is the reliability issues and also that i do have a couple glocks that are much better guns objectively. So chances are i won't end up keeping the tara.

Don't suppose anyone has read or has experience with using a CAA Micro Carbine Conversion Kit designed for the Glock 17 with a Tara TM-9? Saw someone using one at a match a while ago and have interest in getting one.

For some reason, even the clips need a break in period. They're restricted to 10 shots via a dimple in the mag.

First shot still takes getting used to, but it's a very accurate gun, after that.

Great gun to use for competition, 'cause if you don't do so good, you need only say:"It's a Tara, it's all I could afford!"

I will try it out and report back.

Update: doesn't fit, can't get the muzzle all the way in. Seems the frame of a TM9 is slightly taller than the frame of a Glock 17. The grooves don't seem to line up. I imagine with some modification on either the frame of the TM9 or inside the MCK that it would work, though I'm not willing to do so as I use it for my Glock 17. The charging handle seems to fit on the slide serrations despite the Glock 17's being straight and the TM9's being angled. However, because I can't get it fully in I can't really test how well it's holding on. Also, the magazines don't catch in the holder. Again, I'm sure with some modification they will.

Does anyone know if any replacement sights are available? I measured the dovetails front and rear but can't find any info on what fits. Its not a novak. Its not 1911, not Glock. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for this information. Interesting concept. I think I like it but haven't shot one yet. May have to ask nicely next time I see someone at the range with one (or a similar type)
