Looks awesome. I'd be interested in your skinning/tanning technique. Were you taught? Self taught? Books or youtube?

Definitely self taught/YouTube videos, plus much trial and error.... Still not 100% but am getting much better.... My first skinned ones took a beating, lots of cuts during the fleshing period, now it is much rarer for that to happen, I have gotten a lot, a lot better.... You are best to practice it on a few non trophies first because there is definitely a learning curve to it.....

I use a very similar method. The only thing I do after is rub neatsfoot oil into the hide and it stays soft for years

Where do you buy it and any particular brand? How is applied to the hide, spray/brush?
I have never done that but had read others doing it with good results so wouldn't mind trying it to see the difference.
