I see that Vortex USA offers a LE/MIL/Vet discount program on their products. I don't find any information about any LE/MIL/Vet/FR program from Vortex Canada.
Anyone have any information on if Vortex Canada offers anything to LE/MIL/Vet/FR?

From the Vortex USA site:

I am pretty sure it is for US customers only. They were offering 40% off all products to all first responders during the pandemic to US customers...would be nice if we could benefit as well...

I know for a fact that Vortex Canada offers the LEO discount, or at least they did last summer. Would be best to just contact Vortex Canada direct and find out.

IMO Canadian's and Canadian companies don't value 1st responder, LE or Military service like the US does. Here it is just another job.

the reason you can't get it in Canada is because of export regulations, because you're buying direct. If you have it shipped to the US and assume the responsibility for export, you can still benefit from it, or at least you could a couple years ago. I used it back in 2016. FWIW although the discount is substantial, with the exchange rate, some of the CGN vendors had sales that put the scope so close in price that it wasn't necessarily worth the hassle.

there's a bunch of discounts they just don't shout them from the rooftop like in the USA. From blanket 10% off at sail (including firearms and ammo), to 3c/l on gas at CT and Petro-Can to free luggage at Air Canada/WestJet to free banking and a mortgage rate at BMO that is so discounted it used to be better than their employee rate (they have since adjusted their employee rate I believe) I think we're all set. One of the former retailers on here has a programme for LEO/MIL/Veterans and most of the time they advertised something it devolved into a hissy fit by people who couldn't access the discounts. You can still get a glock at a great price from them, just like you can get a SigSauer 1st responder discount through MD Charlton's programme. The list goes on.

Hi all, I emailed Vortex Canada and can confirm there is no LE/MIL discount in Canada. Vortex replied with their reasons which make sense based upon the Canadian market. Unfortunate as I was hoping to pickup a Razor 1-10 for a fantastic price :)
