Source for wood grips Norinco 1911

Just picked up a Norinco 1911 Commander, where would be the best place to source some nice original style walnut or wooden grips?? Thanks in advance.

If you want USGI M1911 grips, they are quite common in the US.

Marstar has some nice looking exotic wood 1911 grips; not sure if they are original style.

Since 1911 grips fit on a Ruger 22/45, I would expect it would work the other way around. That would allow you to widen the search a bit more.

You may not be aware that a Norinco Commander takes the sames grips as a full size 1911. So any grips for a 1911
will fit your pistol.

The dust cover on a commander is a bit shorter to match up with the shorter slide but the the rest of the frame is the same

I just got these from a US seller. Tons of 1911 grips available from cdn or US sellers. Alot easier to get than other models like beretta

Yeah, I meant difference with the grip panels. I’ve never owned any kind of Norinco 1911.
