well, I'm thinking of upgrading my choice of binos. looking at the Zeiss Swarovski Leica brands.been reading up on the sig Sauer model bdx 3000 too. tough choice as they all perform. the warranty is also important on the electronics. would like some input on this.

Lifetime unlimited warranty on the Vortex ones as well. Not sure if that make your choice any different, but that’s really important for me for any electronic stuff. Lots of electronics fail in the first year or two, regardless of who made the product.
Agreed on warranty. Vortex and Athlon lifetime versus Sig 5 year.

You may want to take a serious look at Vortex Fury 5000 AB if you want AB capabilities.
Elite ballistic solver, talks to Kestrel, Kestrel HUD and Garmin 701.
They do everything but make a sandwich.
If you don't need/want AB, the ATHLON Cronus 10×50 UHD Rangefinding Binocular is a great choice also with Lifetime warranty.
